Friday Links

Happy Friday! I’m up to my eyeballs in decision fatigue while redecorating the apartment. Are bar carts dated? How do you install curtains on bay windows? What’s the best way to hide hideous tile? Which shade of white doesn’t clash with my zebra cape? I’m going to try and leave it alone for a few days and enjoy the weekend.

Seeing The Raft tomorrow and can’t wait to discuss it. (Big summer for documentaries about boats.)

I’ve been revisiting Kathleen Edward’s 2008 album and reflecting on how the songs of the W. Bush era are still relevant today.

The sheratesdogs and swipes4daddy accounts are hilarious.

Can’t wait to go back to the new pizzeria from Flour + Water (the mozzarella sticks are amazing).

This unisex body wash smells ridiculously good.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: a pair that works on me and my petite sister.

On accidents and depression.

I signed up for an Acorn TV subscription just to watch Vera and then signed up for BritBox to watch the other seasons. It’s worth the two subscriptions.

I just created a Goodreads account to track the hundreds of books I’ve been meaning to read.

A nice poem.

Still giving as much as I can to The Yellowhammer Fund, especially given the case of Marshae Jones.

We’re one week into the Slow Fashion Season! Since used clothes are okay I’m looking at eBay for old Ralph Lauren teddy sweaters to wear in fall.
